João Valadas Coriel, VCA’s managing partner, will be speaking at the 29th Annual International Private Client Tax Conference, hosted by the International Bar Association (IBA) in London. The conference is scheduled for 3rd to 5th March, focusing on the theme “Navigating the Private Client World in Turbulent Times.”
The event will bring together legal practitioners, tax advisers, and private bankers to discuss current trends and challenges in international private client law. Sessions will address a variety of topics relevant to the sector, including tax planning, asset protection, and compliance issues.
Additionally, João will participate in a breakfast roundtable on Tuesday, 5th March, at 8 am. The session, titled “Breakfast Roundtables: A Game of Snakes and Ladders – The Search for the Perfect Jurisdiction”, invites discussions on the advantages and disadvantages of different jurisdictions for private clients, covering aspects such as tax regimes, pre-immigration planning, and potential legal pitfalls.
This participation highlights our firm’s engagement with the international legal community and our continuous effort to contribute to and stay informed on the latest developments in private client and tax law.
