On 18 October 2024, Notice nº. 23099/2024/2 was published by the National Statistics Institute, which determined the coefficient for the annual updating of rents for the various types of lease, to be in force in the calendar year 2025, which is 1.0216.
Therefore, as a result of the coefficient determined, rents could be increased by 2.16 per cent in 2025.
There has been a marked decrease in the percentage increase compared to 2024, which saw an increase of 6.94%.
